A few thoughts from Tarapoto Special Meeting

  • The aroma of sacrifice that ascended from the life of Jesus in every experience was so pleasing to God.
  • What is the savor of my sacrifice?
  • Keeping meat around for very long creates a bad odor.  That's what happens when we try to save our flesh.
  • God isn't looking for capable people; He's seeking willing hearts.
  • When we don't take time to read and meditate, we lose our appreciation for the sacrifice of Jesus.
  • Jesus was willing for the process to become bread.
  • Our feeling of need causes our roots to deepen.
  • Where there's obedience, there's help.
  • There are three things that never return: time, words, and opportunities.
