Sunday

Patricia's living room set up for the morning fellowship meeting
Ely was sick and not able to attend.  However, Etzer, the Haitian man who invited us to have classes at Gateway, came and listened well.

After our morning meeting, we booked it to the bus terminal and caught the 11:00 bus to Tulcán, and then made our way to Ipiales via taxis.  We fixed ourselves soup at Jorge and Ligia's and spent the afternoon getting ready for the 6:00 gospel meeting.

Johny Flores is unable to have us over during the week because of his work schedule, so we had arranged to have supper with him on Sunday night after the gospel meeting.  As it turned out, he had been called in to work unexpectedly that evening and hadn't been able to let us know because our Colombian phones don't work in Ecuador.  Anyway, he ended up getting home before 8:00.  We ate a little after 8:30 and made it to the home where we were staying the night a little after 9:30.  Not bad, all things considered.
