Wednesday

On Wednesday Karla and I traveled to Las Dos Bocas to have lunch with Carlos and Nátaly.  We had arranged to meet up with the other sister workers around 10:00 to travel together on the bus.  However, we waited for a bus to take us to the meeting place for nearly an hour before one came.  By that time, the other sisters had gone on so they wouldn't be late for their lunch appointments.  We got off the bus in the central plaza of Santa Ana in order to catch the bus that would then take us the rest of the way to our lunch destination.  (This is where we have always caught the bus to get to Las Mercedes.)  After half an hour I decided that maybe we should ask someone if the bus was stopping somewhere else these days to pick up passengers since we hadn't seen one bus pass by.  Sure enough, we had to go around the corner and down a few blocks behind the grocery store.  We finally made it to Carlos and Nátaly's after 1:00, as opposed to 11:30 as we were planning.  Anyway, they were patiently waiting, and we had a lovely visit there.
