A few thoughts from Mt. Sterling convention

  • A candle shines light in every direction.  As it burns, the candle becomes smaller and smaller.
  • God wants to show us the heart of Jesus so we'll have that kind of compassion.
  • No one ever had more against them than Jesus, but His heart never got hard.
  • We don't need different flesh; we need submitted flesh.
  • The power of dark is to hide things.  Things of darkness can be done in broad daylight.  Things of light can be done in the middle of the night.  The power of light is to change things.
  • If we love the Lord, we'll want to give our all.
  • God isn't looking for able people.  He's looking for those who are willing to take the first step.
  • God can help us go forward no matter where we are right now.
  • No matter what place we're called to, we're called to be like Jesus.
  • Be focused in reading and praying.

Have enjoyed getting all caught up these past few days!! :) So glad you're doing better but did they ever actually figure out what was wrong?!

They gave me a diagnosis - viral syndrome and pericarditis. Don't know how accurate it was. I'm in process of some follow-up but am feeling pretty good overall. :-)
