Yesterday, Alice and I went in search of a room that we could use for Gospel Meetings in the South Bend area. Our first stop was an old high school that has been converted into a community center in Lakeville. The room that we were shown was perfect for our needs, so we took down the contact information and said we'd get back with them. You can't just take the first place you look at! After that, we looked at several libraries. They all had nice meeting rooms but required you to have a St. Joe County library card, which we don't have. The rooms available through the Parks and Recreation department were too pricey. We considered a few more options before deciding to head back to Lakeville to book the room at the Newton Center. All in all, a good day's work!
Our current Gospel Meeting schedule is now as follows:
Newton Center (Lakeville, IN) - Jan. 15 & 29 @ 3:30 p.m.
Oak Grove Christian Retirement Center (DeMotte, IN) - Jan. 22 & Feb. 5 @ 3:30 p.m.
