Grandma has a thing with yellow cars. She loves them. She wants one. Every time we pass one, she points it out and says, "There's my yellow car." Grandma turned 80 in September. To celebrate, our plan was to "give" her a yellow car, or at least a ride in one. A former co-worker of Mom's and her husband own a yellow corvette that is a classy car if I've ever seen one. The kink in the plan was that Grandma was in Florida on her 80th birthday, so the car ride was postponed indefinitely. On January 31, the weather was unseasonably warm, and as nearly all the family was together, we decided it would be a perfect opportunity to carry out our plan. It was a success.

That was very unique birthday gift. I’m sure your grandma was very happy with your present. You can tell by smile big smile how much she appreciates such a wonderful gesture. I think you should make it yearly thing. Or better yet, make her wish come true and give her a yellow car!
