No, French Lick is not a coastal town. But there is a river not far away. And when it rains like it did this past week, the river gets bigger than its banks can accommodate. One result of such an event is that you can see the Dollar General store, but you cannot get to it. Ah well, I guess it wasn't an emergency. I'll snap a few pictures out the car window as I drive by instead.
That's supposed to be the road. Don't think I'd want to go that way today even if the police weren't blocking the entrance.
