The Special Meetings / conventions in Quito are held in a rented facility in La Merced. The workers go in on Thursday to prepare the grounds for the arrival of all of our friends by Friday suppertime. I was the bed lady. It was plenty of work, but I was not sad to be out of the kitchen. :-) We had very soft days here. A few notes will be forthcoming.
