A Spanish-style Dwelling

It's hard to get a good idea of what this house is like with these few pictures, but that's all I could easily get.

When you enter the front door, there is a room that is being used as an office immediately to the left. A living room is on the right. All rooms usually have closed doors. When you walk down the hall, you enter this open area pictured here.
I believe the room that you can see of this open area to the right is a bedroom.  There may be another bedroom opposite that one. The bedroom that we are using is directly behind me.

Turning right out of our bedroom, you run into the bathroom. Turning right again takes you down the hall pictured here. There is another room on the left (next door to the bathroom).

This is what you come to at the end of the hallway pictured above. As you can see, the courtyard has no roof and so is open to the weather. Through the courtyard and to the right is the kitchen. That's the open door that you can see here. To the right of the kitchen is the dining room. You can enter that room from the courtyard or through the kitchen. To my knowledge, those are the only two rooms in the house that are connected to each other. Through the courtyard and to the left is a laundry area (nothing automatic that I could tell), and there may be another room or two over there as well. I'm not certain. The "garage" is on the other side of the kitchen. You can see the car in the picture.

As you can imagine, such a house could be a little chilly. We've been glad for our layers and the warm blankets on the bed. Temperature aside, we've very much enjoyed our stay in this unique house with these very hospitable people.
