El Pescado

On Wednesday, it was my privilege, along with April Pierce and Marta Silva, our two visiting sisters, to travel to El Pescado en route to Las Mercedes for lunch and a Bible study with Sra. Mariana, her husband, don Wacho, and their youngest daughter, Génesis.

Sra. Mariana cuts up green mango for us to sample (with salt) before lunch.  I ate most of the contents of the bowl all by myself!

You can tell that we're at the end of the dry season, but I still find my belovéd Manabí to be a beautiful place.

On our way into town, I got to ride in the back of the pickup so that the visitors could ride inside.  Not a sacrifice at all!
