A weekend in Kansas City

The Missouri LiaBraatens headed to Kansas City on Saturday, December 8 to help my cousin, Catie, (belatedly) celebrate her 23rd birthday.  They invited me to tag along, and I was happy to accept their offer.  Catie and her roommate, Alissa, have a lovely little apartment over a garage of some our friends. We enjoyed a couple of lovely meals at their place, a nice supper at a Mongolian Grill on Saturday night and a fun evening of walking around the Plaza in downtown Kansas City.  Sunday morning meeting was right down the driveway, and we headed back to Spokane in the afternoon after a bit of relaxation.  Here are a few pictures of our time together.

Do you think she can fit it all in there??

The grilling process
A bit of an "uh-oh" at the end but all in all quite impressive

My post-grilled supper
Delicious!
