Lacie entertains...again (Are you seeing a pattern here??)

Getting ready for a rousing game of Jenga

Possibly the shortest game ever
The tower came crashing down when Lacie pulled out the second piece.

Lacie has learned to chord on the piano.  Here she holds us spellbound with a lively version of "Caledonia."

Hang on.  What are the words again?

Now she's got it!

Lacie entertains (again)

"Give me all your butter!"

If you are a LiaBraaten, you will understand.  :-)

Got water?

Fleece reminds me to drink more water!

Seeing Double?

Fleece meets her long-lost cousin, also named Fleece, coincidentally.  They were delighted to pose for a family portrait.

Whodunit???

Last evening, I attended my first Murder Mystery Dinner.  It was held at the Spokane high school, and my cousin, Lacie, had a very important roll.  She was the victim!  Natalie Wimberly (aka Lacie) was the president of the Mystery Solvers' Association.  Three finalists contending for induction to the Mystery Solvers' Hall of Fame were present, and as Natalie was presenting the award to the winner, she was stabbed in the back.  She was then hauled out of the room on a beverage cart and stuffed in a freezer to preserve the body.  (I hope that last part didn't actually happen for her sake!)  The remaining living persons proceeded to solve the mystery with a little audience participation.  All in all, it was a very fun evening, and we were glad to see Lacie alive and well at the end of it all.

Ozark sunset

The picture didn't turn out the greatest, but this was the view out my front door the other night.  Beautiful!

My little cottage

Before I arrived at the Missouri LiaBraaten's, Uncle Elliott had fixed up a lovely little building across the driveway from the house to be used as the guest house.  It is LOVELY!  I wish I had taken pictures before my stuff got strewn everywhere, but alas...  Here are a few shots as is.

The desk is to the right as is the door.

I'm enjoying my stay here very much!
