· Prayer has a lot to do with our level of joy.
· Our own thinking and reasoning can disturb our rest. Too much consideration of self disturbs rest.
· God is keenly aware of whether or not our heart is in this.
· David feared the lion and the bear, but he loved the lamb more. We want to let our love for the Lamb be dominant.
· Satan wants to take the love out of our service, faith out of prayer, meditation out of reading. He wants to take the willingness out of submission, the humility out of victory, the fellowship out of friendship.
· Our daily question isn’t whether or not we will serve the Lord today, but rather howwill we serve Him today.
· You can’t stand fast on sand.
· Giving in to something little makes it easier to give in to something big.
· There’s no shortcut to a resurrected life; it comes through death.
· Praying doesn’t come naturally to any of us.
· So much depends on the attitude of our heart when we pray.
· We’re grateful that God is willing to work with material that’s imperfect.
· Unity is a product of the Spirit. Promoting unity is a daily endeavor.
· God considers us worth His time and effort.
· Jesus was beautifully submitted to the will of God.
· If there’s no love in our service, we’ll never push past where it hurts.
