·     It’s better to be a peacemaker than to “win.”
·     Meekness is submission to God without resentment.
·     If we choose the destination, we must accept the way.  If we choose the way, we must accept the destination.
·     Our attitude can make our burden heavier or lighter.  It can make the burden of others heavier or lighter.  We can’t blame others for our attitude.
·     God uses need to meet need.
·     The smallest thing in the world is a person all wrapped up in himself.
·     Faith enables us to get the gold out of every experience.
·     We can make a lot of observations about God from the shore, but it’s only those who go forward into the depths that have experience with God.
·     God gives peace and rest in exchange for obedience.
·     Don’t overlook opportunities to be encouraged.
·     Be willing to cut things off; there’s no scarcity in the way of God.
·     The devil tempts us when we’re the weakest, but God never has a weak moment.  That’s why we need Him so much.
·     We can lose our peace minding other people’s business.
·     The fruit of the Spirit is not a seasonal fruit.
·     We don’t have to experience everything to be wise.

·     Prayer is like reporting for duty.
