Ipiales' colorful bus terminal

I love it!!!

Puppy love

When we went to visit Andrés, Pahola and Sammy on March 3, I made a new friend.  Maylo (read Milo), the four-legged family member hopped onto my lap as soon as I sat down and would not move for any reason thereafter.  He is pretty cute and did a good job of keeping my legs warm, so I can't say that I minded very much.

July 20

No, that's not the calendar date.  It's the name of the main plaza in Ipiales.  (Of course, they actually call it "Veinte de julio" since they speak Spanish here. 😀)  That's where we met Jairo Tipaz for our lunch appointment on Friday, March 3.  I took a few pictures while we were waiting.

Can you see the lady carrying her load of "grass"?  (I'm not actually sure what it is, but it looks like long grass to me.)  :-)

Fun times with Esteban

I built lots of block towers.  Esteban's specialty was demolition.

Watch me knock this one down.

Old world and new

That store in the background is full of technological gadgets, in case you can't see it from this picture.
