das Mittagessen

My friend, Google, informed me that this is how you say "lunch" in German.  I hope he was right!

Mom, Dad and I enjoyed a nice meal at the German cafĂ© in downtown French Lick.  Our waiter likely noticed our bewildered faces when presented with the menu and kindly offered to explain the entire selection to us.  We accepted gratefully.  In the end, he recommended and we ordered a platter with a sampling of nearly everything offered on the menu.  It was delicious, and we left more stuffed than we'd intended to make ourselves.

Send them your junk

And they'll turn it into fun stuff!

Need a motorcycle?

A bit closer up

Saddle for a seat
Barrel for a fuel tank

Horseshoe and spurs for footrests

Shovel head on the back

Horns & horseshoes for handlebars
Quite a ride, no?

In case after seeing the previous driveway post you had decided that you would like an outhouse at your place, you have only to stop by this amazing "junk shop."

Or, perhaps you'd just like the sign posted on the outside of the special facility.

This cute little feller can be yours for only...

$325?!?!?!?!

Taking a step back for a more over-all view

License plate sunflowers and a metal rooster

How about a giraffe for your collection?
Yes, it is almost touching the ceiling.

Lots of creatures made out of golf balls and golf clubs

Boot birdhouses

Have your children been begging you for a puppy?
This one looks fairly low-maintenance.
Being left out in the rain to rust will only add to its appeal.

Not sure what to do with your old rake?
Turn it into a chicken wing!

Can you tell what this critter's body is made of?

A frog for your rock garden

A hammerhead shark bird?

In case you need a helicopter to hang from your ceiling

And that's just a sample of the many useful things you'll find at this unique shop on the edge of French Lick, Indiana.  If you're ever in the area, it's worth a stop.

Just because it's photogenic

Does your driveway look like this?

Just in case you can't make it all the way home...

This looks like a nice posing spot.

Who takes pictures like these?!
