I'll throw in a couple of trees for a little variety! :)

Walking partner
My little friend, A, was predominately interested in making wildflower bouquets to take home with us. When picking one variety, she informed me, "I know these are weeds. They take over the landscape. But I just think they're pretty." I agree!
My fascination with trees continues.
Heading up the hill toward home
I just can't help myself
Taking a walk with a camera turns an exercise experience into an art experience. The world around us is so beautiful in the spring. (And also in the summer, fall and winter) Here's a pictorial recap of my walk up Gibson Road.
Recent rain means heading up this road will get your truck stuck in the muck!
Dogwoods appear
These little worms are taking over the trees!
Home is just down the lane.
Hunting for 'shrooms
My first mushroom hunt was definitely not a failure even though I found nary a 'shroom.

P was the only one who had any mushroom luck.
J alternated between hunting for mushrooms and trying to get untangled from the briars.
D generously donates his find to us. Yum!
As promised...
I have committed myself several times recently to re-enter the blogging world. So today I will seek to make good on my word. When I opened my blog a couple of hours ago, I was shocked to find that my last entry was back in April. I mean, I knew it had been quite a while, but APRIL?!?! Anyway, because I am me, I can't just skip ahead to now and start blogging again. I'll go through my calendar and pictures and try to hit some of the "highlights" and hopefully get to "today" one of these days.
