Can you say IMPOSSIBLE?

To play?

Or to put together?

Legos, Books, and Abounding Energy

My tower

J works hard on his creation.

Completed!

A takes a picture of my tower with his DS before he and J knock it down.

J draws a picture

while A works on his homework

There's no picture of it, but for a while that evening I had two little boys snuggled up against me on the couch while we read books together.  There's nothing like it!

Wondering where to read?

At Gospel Meeting on Sunday, we heard from:

  • Isaiah 53
  • Matthew 1:18-25
Lots of good things to consider!

ICICLES!!!

I've been quite fascinated by these icicles and finally snapped a few pictures one day last week when Janet was driving.

Do we stand out?

On Tuesday, January 28, Janet and I visited a couple of girls who go to school in Evansville.  We arranged to meet them at the front of a certain building on the USI campus and then have lunch together in one of the cafeterias there.  It had been a little while since I'd been to college, but it didn't feel too strange.  They had a lovely "Subway-style" salad bar.  (You tell them what you want, they put it in your bowl.)  This picture was taken after I was already halfway through eating!

Maybe everybody who saw us thought we were prospective students???

A Winter Wonder

Lunch at Siam House

On the morning of January 22, Janet and I hung up posters around Bloomington announcing our upcoming Gospel Meetings at the Handy Meeting Barn.  Such activities make a girl (or two) hungry, so we enjoyed a delicious lunch buffet at Siam House, a Thai restaurant near the IU campus.
