A little later on Monday morning, Mom and I said goodbye to Aunt Beth and headed to the bus terminal to travel back to El Cristal for a little more preps before the Special Meetings began on Friday. Aunt Beth continued to be named on the visiting list in Guayaquil for the rest of that day and then flew back home late Monday night. Another parting! :-/
Our travels again took us through Babahoyo, where Mom took some more pictures of earthquake- damaged (and other) homes and buildings through the window of the truck we were riding in.
And now we've made it back to the corner of the road that leads up to the convention grounds.
Ricardo, Mom and I had been on shopping detail on this trip as well, so Mom and I rode with the driver of the hired truck and the goods from Babahoyo to the grounds while Ricardo came on the bus a little later.
LOTS of eggs!
Mom's and my new quarters in the White House for the days leading up to the meetings
It looks like there's still a little work to be done!
