Darla, Mom and I had Friday and Saturday nights in the home of this sweet family. The oldest daughter, Amy, has plans to visit Mom in the States!

Karen's usually quite a smiler,
but she wasn't in the mood at the moment. :-)

Back at the bach
All the other workers took the bus back to Quito after the last meeting. Darla, Mom and I were fortunate enough to "score" plane tickets back to the capital city. Dad, Karmen, Kyle and Kalynn are coming in tonight, and it won't do to be late to the meet their flight! That meant we had an hour or so to hang out at the bach before Darwin Merchán, don Pastor's son, gave us a ride to Lago's little airport.

One thing we did while waiting was compose a shopping list for whoever does the shopping at convention time. As part of the shopping crew for these meetings, we had discovered that there was no official list. Quantities of all that we would need were estimated, and we made out alright in the end. However, we figured it might not be a bad idea to utilize our present knowledge to help out the next shoppers. :-)
Always smiling! Especially after raiding the chocolate stash in the refrigerator of the brothers' bach! Shhh!!!!
