The one thing we had to do in Guayaquil before heading to the coast was go grocery shopping. We were rather dreading the outing since it was the middle of the month, which is when everyone gets their paycheck, and a weekend to boot. Rebekah went with us, and the advice given to us was, "Let Rebekah get in line when you're partway through shopping to save you a space. That way you won't have to wait so long." Imagine our surprise when this is the sight that greeted us when we were ready to check out.
Looks like we're off to a great start to the week!
