On Friday, October 23, four of us took a bus from Ipiales, Colombia to Pasto, Colombia. We arrived in time for lunch in the home of one of our friends. Three workers from the Colombian staff joined us, one of whom I had never met. We had a lovely meal, and a few of us shared our testimony around the table after eating. There was a Gospel Meeting that night. It was wonderful to sit and listen as two of the brother workers shared the familiar story of Jesus. The convention in Pasto is one day only, usually on a Sunday. This year, however, due to elections, the three meetings were held on Saturday. I'm not a good estimater of crowd size, and neither is my memory that good. That said, I would guess that there were about 60-70 present. Needless to say, it was a wonderful day. I'll type out the speaking list below just to keep record.

After the last meeting, three of the Ecuador workers headed back to Ipiales. Jill and I stayed in Pasto along with the three Colombian workers. That meant we got to help out in the Gospel Meeting on Sunday! We traveled back down to Ipiales on Monday morning. It was a special first trip to Pasto, and I look forward to returning some day for another visit.
