Jill and I just didn't think we had the time to stop by J & C's house in San José this time around. There was too much else going on. We'd make it a priority next time. However, after Bible study on Wednesday, C said to me, "We were waiting for you today. We thought you would come. Can you come tomorrow?" So, that's why we went to J & C's on Thursday morning before we caught the bus for Las Mercedes. It's just pretty much impossible to refuse such an invitation. And as always, we were exceedingly glad that we went.

How many reasons can you find NOT to ride this bicycle?

If you walk away from the house going straight toward the river, through the grove of yucca, you'll come to a cleared out area with a hammock, a couple of benches and a wood oven. It's the "resting spot," and we enjoyed our tour. Next time maybe we'll have enough time to hang out in the hammock for a little while!

C's sister, M, has a new little baby, and we were delighted to meet little miss V for the first time.
Bright eyes!
