Thoughts from the Spanish Special Meeting

• We need wisdom from above to be able to choose the way God would like us to choose.

• Our desire is not that God would change the world but that He would change us.

• "If you doubt my ability, that doesn't bother me, but if you doubt my sincerity, that bothers me a great deal."

• A sense of duty will take us a long way, but only love will take us all the way.  Jesus knew His "duties" toward His Father, but what took Him all the way to the cross was divine love.

• Learning to leave things that we can't control in the hands of the Father gives us peace.

• When Jesus fed the multitude, the only ones who would have left hungry would have been those who didn't eat what was provided.
