Thoughts from Morocco Special Meeting
- What do you have to give to God? Give Him today.
- There were many sacrifices that were called for in the Old Testament, but nothing ever took the place of the daily sacrifice.
- There's so little that we can do. But that's all that God wants - all that we can do.
- We need something (Someone) to reign in us that's more powerful than sin and death.
- Do our daily choices support "I Have Made My Choice Forever"?
- We have limited resources (time, strength, etc). What do we do with them?
- Life is simpler when we've made our choice forever. That settles a lot of other things.
- Our choices can put us in places that make it either easier or harder for us to keep true to our vows.
- Choosing for instant gratification will ultimately disappoint us.
- It's not inevitable that we would bow down to what others are bowing down to.
- Faith will produce in us what is expected of us.
- When God forgives our sins, there is no trace of our past.
- Spiritual life requires an earnest effort.
- We may find ourselves in some places that don't seem so desirable, but they can be heavenly places to us if God is there.
- God spares no effort in helping us to believe in His Son.
