Back in my field

I had a couple of quiet days to myself in the apartment in Quito before flying back to Guayaquil on Thursday, July 14.  On Friday, Marsha and I headed out to the "country" part of our field.

Here are a couple of pictures I took as we jounced along on the shortcut between La Chongona and La Unión.  It may have been shorter.  It may or may not have been faster.  It definitely was bumpier!
