After meeting on Sunday, six of us hopped into Moisés's four passenger Trooper and headed to the grocery store for a little last-minute preps shopping. I had bought a number of things on Saturday afternoon after arriving back in Guayaquil but hadn't been able to get everything that we needed. Thus, my visitors were thrilled to make what would end up being the first of quite a number of trips to the supermarket.
Just around the corner from the Guzmán home: our starting point
That's the side of the Guzmán home (peach and white). Take the sidewalk to the right, and you'll come to the front of the house that was shown in the previous blog entry.
Looking back up the stairs. Moisés and María's house is up above on the right. Are you getting your bearings?
Looking back up at Moisés and María's
See you later!
Mom co-piloted for Jorge while the rest of us squished ourselves into the back seat.
Everybody's first experience with taxo fruit...
Looks like it was rather a hit!
Scenes en route to SuperMaxi:
Our shopping trip was officially a success! Mostly. We'll have to stop at another grocery store on our way to El Cristal, but for now we're finished. Mama María will have lunch ready when we get back home, and after we eat, we'll head to preps. :-)
