Marsha and I spent most of Good Friday in La Martha as it didn't seem to be a very convenient day for visiting people. As I was working on some project in the living room, I heard chanting and singing outside. I stepped out into the entry way and saw a religious procession going by. I watched it for a while before thinking to go back inside and get my camera. I managed to catch the tail end of it through the grating on the window.

The Catholics and the Orthodox are really quite similar in many ways, including this, it seems. Easter here is the beginning of May but we have a lot of this kind of thing, too, in the lead up to the holiday.
