Nobility doesn't always live in mansions or palaces;
Sometimes it dwells way back down a dirt road in a house made of cement.
Nobility doesn't always eat royal dainties served on golden trays;
Sometimes it eats rice three meals a day on chipped plates and is thankful to have that.
Nobility doesn't always speak in delicate refined tones about matters of world-importance;
Sometimes it mixes metaphors in uneducated accents.
True nobility isn't about receiving unmerited favors because of life's circumstances;
It's about possessing excellence of spirit in spite of life's circumstances.
Some of the noblest people I know don't have many of the things many in the world would consider important. But the worth of a noble spirit cannot be measured.
