A slightly incomplete tour

Karmen and I arrived at the Ali Shungu lodge in Otavalo a little before 6:00 on Friday evening.
Let the relaxing begin!

First, the picture opportunity we still haven't seemed to get enough of.  Every once in a while, we would look at each other, and one of us would ask, "Have we taken a picture that looks like that yet?"

Front door

In the living room looking toward the kitchen back through that arched doorway

Wood burning stove in the living room that we had a fire in most evenings

Kitchen.  Obviously.

That door to the left goes into what was my bedroom.

The door to the left of the refrigerator goes into Karmen's room.

The spacious bathroom is also right off of the kitchen.

The photographer photographed herself in this one!

I guess this is the only picture we got of the bedroom I stayed in.  It actually had three beds.  The twin bed is just to the right of the person taking the picture.  There's also a nice closet and dresser to the left that you can't see in the picture.

It's a lovely place to stay if you're ever looking for a place to get off of the grid for awhile!
