·   There’s nothing wrong with needing reassurance.
·     We want to let God interpret experiences for us.
·     Our lives explain to this world what we love and believe.
·     A problem can never be solved on the level on which it was created.  Someone is going to have to take the high road.
·     Don’t deal with your own weakness or struggle by comparing yourself with someone else.  We live before God.
·     “I can do all things through Christ.”  Faith and grace are a powerful combination.
·     Cling to the vine; don’t dangle from it.
·     In a building, only so much mortar can be used for connecting.  The stones have to be chipped away in order to fit in.
·     Often we’re defeated because we overlook the little things.
·     We’re never going to enjoy the fellowship of Jesus’ suffering if everything goes our way.
·     When we suffer to do the will of God, Jesus is right there with us.
·     The love of God is designed to bring us into the will of God.
·     Prayer promotes unity.
·     We can’t glorify God without bearing fruit.  Some of this fruit is most apparent when the pressure is on.  God can use any experience in life to help us bear fruit. When He prunes us, He cuts back on the human so that the divine can grow.
·     Fruit is very powerful; it’s really our best weapon.  David got victory over Goliath by the fruit of faith.  Jacob’s spirit of meekness disarmed Esau.  Abigail brought forth fruit – meekness, humility, faith – that disarmed David and his men.
·     If you ever throw a stick up in the tree and all you get back is the stick, the fruit isn’t mature.
·     If we lose our joy, we lose our strength.
·     Compromise is defeat on a slow burn.
·     Without repentance, there is no future.
·     What we love greatly affects what we’re willing to fight against.
·     It’s easy to have the wrong focus in a hard experience.  Faith helps us keep the right focus.
·     Lighthouses are kept ready even in places where there are very few ships.
·     A servant can be trusted when he loves and wants to please his master.
·     Those who knew what Joseph had said about his bones would have taken courage in the present distress.
·     We want to set in motion today what we’ll be content with for all eternity.
