On Tuesday, October 17, we met up with Vaughn, Alberto, Jill and Ingrid to take the teleférico to a scenic overlook of Quito. The cable car takes you to a certain point, and there's hiking beyond that for those who are interested. All of us climbed a little ways, but we four sisters left the brothers to do their thing before getting too winded ourselves.

The clouds didn't cooperate with us very well, so this is the most we saw of the snow-capped volcano, Cotopaxi.
