Sometimes the stairways here can be a little frightening. It's best to be wide awake and fully aware when you try to navigate them. This particular staircase was especially nerve-wracking for Kim. That's the door to her bedroom that you can see just to the right of the stairs on the second level. I advised her not to make a sudden right turn out of her room at any point during our stay!

We decided that very few people at home would go with such bright colors in a living room, but down here it just works.
Poor Sofía had just come down with a bad cold the very day we arrived, but she was a gracious hostess, nonetheless.
