Third Sunday in Peru

Apr. 30

Woke up at 4 something feeling cold, so covered up with my sheet. All better!

                Breakfast somewhere around 7:30

Soap! Glorious soap! I washed my hands with soap for the first time in what feels like days!

Two lovely meetings - 28 present, including the six workers

The whole group

The six workers plus the couple of the home and the lady of the home's sister
So, if you count this as four rows, the names would be thus:
Row 4: Sra. Anita (sister of Sra. Matilde)
Row 3: Dicson, Kamela, Héctor
Row 2: Olinda, Sra. Matilde, don Édgar
Row 1: Elvia, Palmira

Lunch prepared Sra Mathilde served on real plates with real silverware: chicken, rice, potatoes, carrot & cabbage salad with chicha morada to drink

Grape cremoladas with Dicson and Elvia

Supper around 7:00, tried to figure out how to put the new Spanish hymns on Édgar and Mathilde's phones afterwards with no success

Bucket shower (even though there was running water - I figured a bucket would be faster than a trickle.) in the dark

Got to bed later than I would have liked since we have to leave at 7:20 in the morning, but...
