This was the day for breaks! Luz and I spent a little time in a cute bakery (Hansel & Gretel) near the McLean's after lunch while we waited to be able to get into the house. As we were sitting there, I realized that I recognized the song that was playing. "Leader of the Band" was written by a Peoria native! That's not exactly what I was expecting to hear in a Quito bakery, for sure!
