Jenimae's one souvenir desire was a wooden "Bienvenido" sign for her house. We had found just the thing at the artisan market the previous day, but the owner of the stall where it was never appeared. So, that was our main reason for returning on Tuesday. Alas, he wasn't open yet. We stayed as long as we could but no luck. The ladies did make a few other purchases, however, so all was not lost.
Postscript: When Karmen came in December, we went back to the market and got Jenimae her sign. I love happy endings!
