Happy Birthday, Rebekah!

After convention rounds were over, I was on the list without a co-worker until the middle of January. Fortunately, Rebekah Murray, a young girl visiting Ecuador from New Zealand, was willing to accompany me so that I wouldn't be alone.  Our first full day together in the field happened to be her birthday, so we tried to do a little celebrating in addition to our two studies that day.

Javier Pizarro, visiting from Brazil, picked us up in the morning to do a little touristing before having lunch with his parents at their home in Guayaquil.

It turned out to not be incredibly interesting, but at least it was air conditioned!
