Good morning! Looks like it's going to be a lovely day for "beaching"!
Our friendly neighbors lent us their beach umbrella and chairs so we wouldn't have to rent them further down the beach.

All those little balls of sand are made by the sand crabs that live on the beach. It's quite fascinating to watch them work. I don't know if there is a purpose to their labors or if it just keeps them busy. Anyway, it solved the mystery of where all those tiny balls came from.

For the record, you can get VERY burnt through an umbrella! We learned this the hard way.
And the setting sun tells us that yet another day is drawing to a close.
Our last full day at our beach retreat was a good one!
