I got in on the festivities of the neighborhood elementary school festivities for "Día de la raza" by default. (I was working on something in the living room of the home where we were staying and couldn't hear my own thoughts above the ruckus.) Here's a video clip of Ecuador's national anthem (which has six verses plus a chorus). I'll paste the wikipedia entry for the anthem in case you're interested in the English translation of the lyrics. (It's rather bloodthirsty!)
