Visiting friends
Our friends, Julio & Cecilia and their family, had finished construction on their new house since I left the field, so I wanted to be sure and see it while we were close by. Unfortunately, Cecilia was not there at the time, but we got to see Julio and most of the children as we admired their new residence.
We go through the yard of this home to get to the river that we have to cross to arrive at J & C's.
I'm not sure how much good that curtain actually does.

It was at this point that Selomit was 100% convinced that she had seen a snake. I didn't doubt that she had, but neither did I translate our discussion about it to my visitors. :-)
We passed the home of Cecilia's brother on our way. These sweet children were more than happy to pose for a few pictures before we headed on our way.

I'm sorry to say that I didn't get any actual pictures of the new house. There are just a few that got taken as we were leaving, so here are those.
My guests especially enjoyed the new modern staircase. :-)
