On Wednesday, January 6, Laura, Alaina and I left the McLean home at a rather unearthly hour to head to the airport. The girls' flight left somewhere around 8:00, so we needed to be to the airport by 6:00. We had arranged a taxi already, and our driver arrived promptly at the specified departure time. Wonderful! That gave us plenty of time at the airport end. The girls checked in with no problems, and then we had a while to just sit and wait and chat and relive our shared Ecuador experiences. Around 7:00, L & A headed through the security gate, and our time together was over. It was wonderful to have you, ladies. Thanks for being such exemplary visitors! :-) Chau for now.
