I've never considered central Illinois "the south," but it is souther than the north. We were delighted to be greeted with green grass, little buds on trees and beautiful daffodils when we arrived in our field on Monday night. (I guess we had to wait until Tuesday morning to really
see the signs of spring, but anyway...) Our time in Michigan was very special. The meetings were helpful and the visits wonderful. We even enjoyed the snow
and ice. Now we're home where the predominant form of precipitation is rain - and A LOT of it. I'll try to catch up a bit on all the blog posts I didn't do while we were away.
