Last night (or I guess I should say this morning), Lacie woke us all up around 2:30 so we could see a meteor shower. Before we went to bed, it sounded like a really cool idea. At 2:30 in the morning, it just sounded like a cold idea. Lacie, however, had done all the legwork for us. She heated up blankets in the dryer, filled a hot water bottle and brought out scarves, hats and mittens. We sat/laid on the driveway for 20 minutes or so and watched meteors shooting through the sky. I don't know how many we saw, but we all decided that the field trip to the driveway in the middle of the night had been worth it. The meteor shower continues tonight and tomorrow night. I recommend getting outside and seeing what you can see.
