Heading north

Ardith and I left our field on Sunday, September 9 and headed north.  Our ultimate destination was Wisconsin Dells convention, but we made a bit of a trip out of it.  Our first stop was Eureka, IL, where Dad took a nice co-worker picture of us.  It was the first time Ardith had been to Mom and Dad's, so she had a bit of a tour before we headed on our way again.  Our next and last stop for that day was the Pedersen home in northern IL.  It was Ardith's birthday, so we had ice cream cake after a delicious supper and then headed for bed.  We had been informed of a gigantic shoe store that was right on our way, so on Monday, we had that little stop to make as well as a lunch stop at Culver's before we arrived at the grounds mid-afternoon.  A relaxed trip and a wonderful destination, what a combination!

Yes, it was fun to look around.  No, I didn't buy any shoes.
