Grandma & Grandpa R., Sharon, Valerie and I enjoyed a final lunch together at Mika's Coffee Shop in Eureka before the grandparents and I departed for Indianapolis.
My scrumptious and beautiful strawberry salad
The crew minus Valerie (the photographer) and Grover (Where was he anyway??)
He was eating right beside his plate where he was 'posta be.
ReplyDeleteAw, he was being very good. As always. :-)
DeleteG'pa and I have been waITinG FOR THIS AND ENJOYED IT VERY
ReplyDeleteMUCH.
Had a tornado go thru our county Thur. Went right past the home of the AMISH MAN WHO has been helping
G'pa with work in the garage and basement. Demolished the
double wide just past their home and killed the lady who was
in it. Joe (the Amish)went helped get her out - her house was across the road from where it had been. It has been a
very upsetting week for them and the talk of all who have been here for adjustments. It just missed the Amish school,
but the kids saw it and now are too terrified to go back to
school. Feel sorry for them and thankful it didn't come this way. Joe's wife called to check to see if we were OK -
We knew it rained and blew but had no idea such was going on
Give our greeting to any one we might know. I'm sure you will have good days there. Goodnight for now - Love you LOTS
Wow! Quite a thing about the tornado. Wonder if it's all "back to normal" by now. It was good to talk to you yesterday. I tried to provide you with a "little" more reading material today as I did my blog "ketchup." Love you LOTS too. :-)
