Cause for celebration

Happy 55th birthday to the most wonderful father a girl like me could ever have!

This is when we first got acquainted, and it's only gotten better!

Frosty Paws

Have you ever heard of Beef Flavored Doggie Ice Cream?  Schwan's sells it, and these pooches love it!

The work of a Master Artist

I've never seen a sunset that covered the whole sky.  This one did.  It was amazing.

It must be slick!

The roads didn't look so terrible as we headed south from Kokomo to Indianapolis on January 16, but after we saw six cars off the road in the space of about 20 miles, we decided that it must be slick!

Welcome back to winter!

Coming into Indianapolis

That's quite a snow pile!

Return flight schedule

Tuesday, January 14, 2014

Depart Charlotte - 1:20 pm
Arrive Cleveland - 3:02 pm

Connection time - 37 minutes
*Note: This connection was no better than the one in Chicago en route to Charlotte.  We went from
wheelchair (for Janet) to cart to escalator to cart to escalator to mad walking dash to the gate.  But
       we made it!

Depart Cleveland - 3:39 pm
Arrive Indianapolis - 4:53 pm

A brief stay at the Olson residence

My third cousin, Laura, and her family recently moved to the Charlotte area, so it was special to have a night with them before heading out on Tuesday.  Paige and I quickly became playmates, and somehow I never got any pictures of the grown-ups.  (AGAIN!)

Paige and Macy on Monday evening

All smiles

Guess who's in the bag

Fleece!

Paige's toys took me back to my childhood.  Many of her play things were her mother's when she was a little girl.  Since we're in the same generation...
Little people having meeting

Which turned into a Gospel Meeting as we found more people and more chairs

Paige loved Fleece!

Here she is!

I didn't get any pictures of the boiled peanut consumption since I was too busy shelling the peanuts for the littlest squirt, but these girls are huge fans!

Corn on the cob is another treat.

Lip-smackin' good
